Upgrading and Restoring User Portal

This chapter describes the process for upgrading rpm-based User Portal instances to version 7.0.0. This chapter also provides instructions for restoring User Portal to an earlier state.

The high-level workflow for User Portal upgrade is as follows:

1. Stop the User Portal services.

2. (Optional) Back up the User Portal database.

3. Upgrade the User Portal software.

4. Restart the User Portal services.
