Prerequisites

Check and execute the following steps before performing User Portal upgrade:

  • Ensure that you have the Key Manager installation package. The name of the installation package is similar to the following:

    sshmgr-7.0.0-*.x86_64.tar

  • Ensure that you are able to get root terminal access to the User Portal machine.

  • In deployments with multiple User Portal instances, you must upgrade all User Portal instances to the same version.

  • Upgrade is supported from User Portal instances that use a database (either local or external) as their storage; and to or from instances using a local cache for storage.
