API Connection Setup

This chapter details the operations required for enabling User Portal to connect to the Key Manager API, which is required by User Portal for retrieving signoff-related data from the Key Manager system. The high-level process for this operation consists of the following steps:

  1. Creating a Key Manager API user (Creating a Key Manager API User).

  2. Obtaining API credentials (either an API token or SSL certificates) (Obtaining API Credentials).

  3. Configuring the API connection. Uploading the API credentials to User Portal (Uploading Client Certificates to User Portal).

The instructions for performing these steps are provided in the subsequent sections of this chapter.
