Package Installation

Key Manager clients are provided with the Key Manager installation package. To install the Key Manager clients and any required dependencies:

  1. Copy the Key Manager installation package to the machine where you want to install the clients. Navigate to the directory where the Key Manager installation package is located. Install the sshmgr- client using the following command:

    # rpm -i sshmgr-client-7.0.0-*.x86_64.rpm

    This extracts the installation package to the current working directory.

  2. Navigate to the installation package directory, which was created by extracting the tar package:

    # cd sshmgr-7.0.0-*/

    Subsequent instructions are provided with the assumption that the commands are run from this path.

  3. Install the Key Manager client package, which provides both the command-line client and the API client:

    # rpm -i sshmgr-client-7.0.0-*.x86_64.rpm
