We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the following documents before integrating PrivX Key Manager with SafeNet Network HSM:

  • The instructions provided in this document assume that you have already set up a functioning Key Manager deployment. For information about setting up Key Manager, see the PrivX Key Manager Installation Manual that is appropriate for your chosen platform.

    These instructions also assume that you have set up a functioning SafeNet Network HSM appliance with a partition reserved for keys used by Key Manager. For more information about HSM setup and operation, please see the documentation provided by your HSM vendor.

  • For general information about Key Manager features, see the Key Manager Product Description.
