Getting Started with User Portal

This chapter will get you started with using the User Portal. The examples in this chapter illustrate the following use cases:

• Assigning user keys to applications, which allows application owners to review and make requests for keys.

• Assigning application owners to applications.

• Creating, submitting, and approving requests.

User Portal is an optional component in Key Manager deployments. Adding User Portal to your Key Manager allows application owners to request, review, and approve changes to the parts of the SSH key environment that belong to their applications.

The examples in this chapter are designed to be performed in the order they are presented. While individual examples may also be run as standalone exercises, note that some examples may depend on certain conditions achieved in preceding examples.
