Setting Memory Restrictions for Key Manager
You can set memory-usage restrictions to improve Key Manager back end performance. Allocating more memory to Key Manager processes allows concurrent jobs to be run faster. However, a Key Manager back end may become unresponsive in situations where it does not have enough free memory.
Setting the Maximum Memory-Usage Limit on Key Manager Back Ends
You can stop Key Manager from creating new worker processes on Key Manager back ends with high memory usage. To do this, navigate to the Settings→General→Backend page, and specify the maximum percentage of memory that can be used in the Maximum memory usage limit field. When the memory usage on a Key Manager back end exceeds the specified percentage, no new worker processes are created on that Key Manager back end until the memory usage drops below the specified percentage.
Setting the Maximum Memory Usage of Worker Processes
You can set the maximum amount of memory a single worker process is allowed to take. Any worker processes that use more memory are terminated.
The worker memory limit is set in the Settings→General→Backend page, in the Backend worker memory limit setting.
