Resetting Account Passwords
Superusers can reset non-superuser admin-account passwords. Passwords can be reset without the need to know the current account password, which makes it applicable for recovering accounts when the account password was forgotten.
To reset the password of a non-superuser account, access the Key Manager GUI as a superuser. Navigate to the Accounts→Accounts page, then perform a Reset Password action on the target account.
Superuser passwords can only be reset using the Key Manager controller utility. For more information about resetting passwords using the Key Manager controller, see Managing Key Manager Administrator Accounts.
Password-reset operations are subject to the current password policies in the Key Manager system. For more information about password-policy settings, see Password-Policy Settings.
