Canceling Ongoing Jobs

To cancel a job, click the job you want to cancel. In its details panel, click Cancel. Target job(s) are canceled within the periodic interval (within 1 minute by default). Canceled jobs are marked as failed.

Canceling a job does not undo the commands that have already been run by the target job. See the job log to determine the commands that have been run.

In order to cancel a job started by other Key Manager administrators, you need to have the same permissions required for starting that job on the host where it is running. Canceling a parent job automatically cancels all the associated child jobs. You can see the cancelation progress in the job's Cancellation status field.

Job cancellations only take effect between the phases of the job. When you cancel a job, the job will still execute the rest of the tasks in its current phase. Depending on the type and the current phase of the job, it may take some time before the job is canceled.
